From Bay Area Director, Brent Tarnow:

I recently bid a fond farewell to Chicago, the origin of 3Point Athletics, and relocated to the Bay Area, with its wonderful people, California lifestyle, diverse cultures and gorgeous landscape. After extensive training with the 3Point founders and witnessing first hand their positive impact on the local communities of Chicago, I left practicing law and my hometown behind for the opportunity to bring our shared mission to San Francisco's Bay Area.

As a volunteer middle school basketball coach working with the 3Point team in Chicago, I was immediately impressed by their professionalism, dedication to providing the absolute best sports programs possible, and their love of working with kids. 3Point Athletics proved to possess an engaged ownership dedicated to improving the lives of children, an emphasis on the health and well-being of all students, and the understanding that sports can play a very large and important part in shaping kids' lives. Without any doubt, 3Point Athletics provides invaluable instruction and guidance to aspiring athletes in all arenas of life. I also believe strongly that kids need an outlet for exercise, activity, teamwork, sweat and competition - perhaps now, more than ever.

Considering my love of the Bay Area and conviction that 3Point Athletics provides vital lessons to all students, both in sports and life, I decided to combine two of my favorite things into one: 3Point Athletics - Bay Area! My mission is to bring the dedicated youth sports services and programs of the 3Point Athletics team to the local communities of San Francisco and the Bay Area. I, and my team of instructors, am very excited to launch classes, clinics and camps beginning this winter, 2010.
